The Great Minnesota Get-Together and FireDog Sighting
The Minnesota State Fair is pretty awesome. Basically attending the fair goes something like this: Look at animals, stuff yourself with the least nutritious food ever conceived (most of which is served on a stick), wait 364 days and repeat.
Apprently horses hate me.
This place had fruit kabobs. But since it is the fair and healthy food is forbidden, they dipped them in chocolate.
Some exotic drink from a far off land called "pop". I tastes a lot like soda.
If you think that cheesecake is good on a plate, well just imagine how great it is on a stick!
I didn't realize this when i snapped the pic, but apparently this is what Firedog is up to these days.
Pizza: Good. Calzone:Good. On a stick: AWESOME!
I don't even know how this would be possible, until I realized that like most fair fare, they found a way to deep fry it. And finaly, the Midwest favorite, cheese curds. I think I counted them making a thousand at a time. No wonder Midwesterners are so fat.
